Contemporary glass objects + jewelry
Made by hand in Atlanta, Georgia
Sarah Noble Glass House is an evolving collection
of objects and adornment shaped by an exploration of glass—
its color, texture, movement, and light.

The Work

Objects
Glass for the spaces we live in.
Sculptural vessels and objects made through kiln-forming, coldworking, and an ongoing exploration of glass as material. Each piece begins with an idea—often geometric, sometimes imperfect—and develops through color, texture, heat, and experimentation.
Wearable
Glass, made personal.
Sculptural jewelry pairing handmade glass with thoughtfully
selected metals and materials. Each piece is designed around the glass itself: its shape, weight,
color, texture, and the small variations that
make handmade objects individual.

The Artist
Starting over in glass
I'm Sarah Noble, the artist and maker behind Sarah Noble Glass House.I came to glass in my mid-forties, after decades of working creatively in other mediums and businesses. Starting again as a beginner has been equal parts uncomfortable and exhilarating.Glass gave me something I hadn't realized I was missing: permission to experiment.

The Process
Made slowly. Made by hand.
Glass has its own inner life.It expands, contracts, flows, reacts, and sometimes refuses
to behave exactly as planned. My work moves between kiln-formed and lampworked glass, coldworking, and metalwork. Some pieces begin with careful drawings and measurements. Others begin with a color combination, an interesting texture, or a simple question:What happens if I try this?Cutting. Firing. Grinding. Polishing. Forming. Casting. Refining. Each step leaves something behind. The goal isn't perfect uniformity. It's to create pieces that feel considered, tactile, and unmistakably made by hand.
SARAH NOBLE GLASS HOUSE
Objects with a point of view.
I believe the things we choose to live with don't have to be purely practical—or purely decorative. They can be strange. Beautiful. Unexpected.
They can catch your eye every time you walk past.Whether it's a vessel sitting on a shelf or a piece of glass worn around your neck,
I want the work I make to feel a little different from anything else you own.Something worth keeping. Something worth admiring.

About Sarah
A creative's evolution.
Sarah Noble is an Atlanta-based artist and designer
and the founder of Sarah Noble Glass House. Her creative career has taken a decidedly nonlinear path. After completing college in Chicago, Sarah moved to Atlanta in 2003 and began her professional creative life behind the camera, working first in wedding photography and later specializing in pet photography. That experience shaped an enduring interest in composition, color, light, and the small details that give an image—or an object—its character. Her work eventually moved from photography into design, where she built a stationery and invitation business. Creating paper goods for weddings and other celebrations, Sarah developed a deeper appreciation for typography, pattern, materials, and the tactile experience of a beautifully made object.Later, Sarah stepped into the world of retail, opening and operating a brick-and-mortar boutique gift shop in Atlanta. For five years, she curated an ever-changing collection of gifts, stationery, barware, home goods, and pieces by independent makers. Being surrounded by thoughtfully designed objects—and seeing firsthand the things people were drawn to, picked up, gave as gifts, and chose to bring into their homes—further shaped her own design sensibility. Then came glass.Sarah discovered the medium in her mid-forties and found herself, once again, a beginner. What started as a new creative pursuit quickly became something much larger: an opportunity to bring together decades of experience with color, composition, design, materials, and objects while learning an entirely new visual language.Sarah Noble Glass House grew from that exploration.Working across kiln-formed and lampworked glass, coldworking, and metalwork, Sarah creates contemporary objects and jewelry that explore geometry, color, texture, contrast, and the unpredictable qualities of glass. After a creative career spent moving between mediums, Sarah no longer sees starting over as starting from scratch.
Every chapter comes with you.Sarah lives and works in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Ted and her two fur babies.
